Observing various southern villages from above you can see a landscape of tiled roofs. This project on surfaces is a homage to one of the most characteristic elements of Mediterranean architecture. Imbrex is in fact the ancient name given to the tiles used by the Greeks and Romans.
Small, semi-cylindrical tiles, carved into stone thanks to the low relief technique, create a three-dimensional texture defined by its orthogonal, grid pattern which can also be used as shelving, either vertical or horizontal, used to hold books and objects.
